MRN Patient Centricity Webinar Teams Up with World Courier - November 11th

Medical Research Network (MRN), specialists in conducting clinical trials in the home, is set to present practical solutions for patient recruitment and retention in a webinar led by World Courier.

The webinar entitled The Patient Centric Approach to Clinical Trials will take place on 11 November 2015, at 10am New York and 3pm London.
Chaired by Sue Lee, Technical Portfolio Manager at World Courier, the webinar will explore challenges surrounding clinical trials for both Sponsors and patients. Using real-life examples, presenters Helena Baker, Vice President of Global Nursing Services at MRN and cancer survivor Jack Whelan will offer practical solutions to aid patient recruitment and retention and identify trial pitfalls from a patient’s point of view. The webinar will also cover the impact a patient-centric approach and the use of home healthcare can have on trials and patients.

Helena Baker said: “Patient retention in clinical trials is a serious issue for medicine development. We need to think of ways that reduce the burden on patients as without them a clinical trial will not succeed. We’ve invited Jack to present during the webinar because, as a seven-year cancer survivor and research advocate, he offers a key insight into how the healthcare industry can make the trial experience better for patients and move medicine forward.

“We would encourage anyone in the clinical trial sector looking to improve patient experience to enrol on the free webinar.”
