Services
The MRN offers 3 core services, all nursing focused and all with one single objective – boosting patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials.
Our unique Home Trial Support service offers nurse visits to the patients in their own homes, eliminating the need to travel to the trial site as often; typically 50% of visits can be done in the home. This service can increase patient recruitment by up to 60% and maintain retention at over 95%, as it makes study participation easier and more attractive to the patient. Performing a number of visits in the home also lessens the resource burden on the sites, allowing them to enter more patients or run more trials! We have experience of running this service across many therapeutic areas, including oncology, rheumatology, neurology (MS) and metabolic diseases.
Our Site Nurse Support service places experienced and well trained research nurses into sites to manage the trials; this enables each site to focus on patient identification and selection, as well as facilitating performance of all procedures in a timely manner. Placements can be made at single sites, or nursing teams can be pulled together to support sites across whole countries and trials.
Provision of study specific nursing driven solutions to recruitment & retention bottlenecks; for example set up of satellite clinics, centralized call centers, liaising with referral sites. These services are flexible and can be tailored to the Sponsor/CRO requirements.
