Through our affiliation with Healthcare at Home, the MRN has access to tens of thousands of patients in the UK that have approved and marketed therapies delivered direct to their home, often by homecare nurses.
The MRN can support our Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sponsors by compiling patient registry databases to enhance post-marketing campaigns.
This is achieved by having the homecare nurse collect data such as quality of life, pharmaeconomic and health economic data as part of their routine visits to the patient. This has the following benefits for the sponsor:
- assess discontinuations from therapy, thus providing richer data, including safety and efficacy issues
- provide valuable data on how the product is perceived by both the prescribing physician and patient
- enhance marketing package to potential prescribers
