Through our network of over 400 nurses and 17 regional offices, the MRN has a web of specialist home care nurses providing trial specific support in the patient’s home anywhere in the UK. In addition to relieving stress and anxiety for trial patients, the often time consuming logistics of getting to the trial site are reduced. Recruitment and retention are therefore also enhanced.

Home trial support includes:

• Drug administration
• Concomitant medication administration
• Blood sampling and centrifuging
• Patient assessment and data recording (paper/eCRF)
• Clinical efficacy assessments
• Safety monitoring
• Drug accountability
