Quality Management
MRN use the definition of Quality:
“Conformance to Requirements” (Demming)
MRN is proud of its QMS, which is based on a unique approach to documenting key activities whilst allowing for personal innovation and process development. In our system:
- SOPs define WHAT must be done and WHO is responsible
- Guidelines and templates define HOW to do something
Applying these carefully allows us to set increasing degrees of standardization as deemed necessary for any individual task.
As SOP alone defines a level of control designed to ensure tasks are done, but exactly how they are done is left relaxed if the method of doing them is not itself critical. Where the method needs stricter control, then guidelines are put in place to add detail and define exact steps to take. Where absolute conformity is required, then templates are produced which define output exactly, as well as setting in stone key deliverables along the way.
