Research Nurse - Paediatric & Allergy
Job Description:
Based initially at the St Thomas’ hospital in London, the Senior Paediatric Allergy Research Nurse is responsible for managing the clinical research activity within the Paediatric Clinical Trials Unit (Snowy Owl Ward). As the nursing lead on a large-scale peanut allergy prevention study, the LEAP Study (www.leapstudy.co.uk), you would be responsible for overseeing, providing and ensuring high quality nursing care to the 640 children enrolled in the study.
With 5 years post registration paediatric nursing experience and ideally, research experience you will be a motivated and enthusiastic manager with the delivery of exemplary care as the driving force behind your activity.
The post will be based initially at St Thomas’ Hospital; however, it is a requirement of employment that the post holder be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the College either on an on-going or temporary basis after due consultation.
This post is full time for 12 months.
